Job summary

Hegen is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to drive in-store execution and retail partnerships across Singapore. You will coordinate campaigns, product launches, and retail activations while supporting commercial objectives and operational excellence.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, engaging in on-ground trade events, store visits, and merchandising efforts to grow the brand and deliver impactful customer experiences.

Job description

The Trade Marketing Executive supports the execution of commercial and trade initiatives across retail channels to drive sales growth, strengthen retail partnerships, and deliver best-in-class in-store execution. Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, this role ensures the effective delivery of promotional campaigns, product launches, and retail activations while supporting commercial objectives and operational excellence.

The incumbent will play a hands-on role in coordinating day-to-day trade marketing activities, supporting key retail accounts, monitoring campaign execution, and ensuring merchandising excellence across retail touchpoints. This role requires a commercially minded individual with strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering impactful retail experiences that contribute to Hegen's business growth.

Responsibilities

Trade Marketing Planning and Implementation

• Support the development and execution of marketing activation plans aligned with brand and sales objectives
• Implement channel strategies based on the marketing calendar
• Work with the marketing team on new product launches, campaigns, and events
• Plan and execute trade activations (e.g. baby fairs, retailer pop-ups)
• Conduct store visits to assess brand positioning and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop trade marketing materials (POSM, sell-in decks, toolkits, promotional assets)
• Work closely with brand and partnerships teams on collaboration campaigns
• Track marketing ROI and promotion efficiency
• Coordinate with fulfilment teams to ensure timely product delivery

Business Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
• Support market and channel analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Identify new retail channels and expansion areas
• Prepare commercial proposals, pitch decks, and business cases
• Conduct competitive and pricing analysis
• Support onboarding of new partners and distributors
• Maintain key account trackers, pipelines, and performance dashboards

Additional Information

This role involves on-ground retail, roadshow, and trade event activities, including extended periods of standing and handling merchandising materials (typically up to 5kg). Team support and appropriate equipment are provided to facilitate setup and teardown activities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields
• Early-career professionals with relevant experience in FMCG, retail operations, trade marketing, or related commercial functions; candidates with strong internship exposure and keenness to learn through hands-on field work
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
• Meticulous and analytical with strong attention to detail
• Strong commercial acumen and comfort working with data
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ready to undertake store visits and field work
• Proficient in key Microsoft Office applications (including Excel and PowerPoint); experience with sales reporting, dashboards, or business intelligence tools is an advantage
