Job summary

OCBC Bank is offering an internship in Singapore within Trade Finance Operations, focused on testing and quality assurance for banking systems. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, designing, and executing tests, while collaborating with product, project and IT stakeholders to ensure reliable system deployments.

You will contribute to the QA lifecycle, learn to identify defects, and assist in preparing training materials for end users.

Qualifications

• Analytical and detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Interest in banking operations and trade finance systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, project managers and IT to understand testing objectives.
• Design and develop UAT and regression tests from an operations user perspective.
• Execute test cases, analyze results and coordinate defect resolution with IT partners.
• Document, track and report issues using JIRA; provide regular testing status updates.
• Conduct system testing across trade finance platforms and assist root cause analysis.
• Support creation of system training materials and end-user documentation.
• Assist with ad-hoc testing tasks and project support as needed.
