Job summary

Bank of China Limited in Singapore seeks a senior trade finance and FI sales professional to grow forfaiting and trade finance business, while driving distribution and customer development. You will set up new products, coordinate marketing activities with strategic goals, and build strong FI networks to meet targets.

The role requires 8–12 years in corporate/transaction banking, with 3–5 years in FI relationship management and trade finance product sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting or Banking preferred.
• Familiar with LC, collection, LG and other trade finance products; distribution experience in corporate risk, factoring, supply chain finance is a plus.
• Corporate/Transaction banking background with 8–12 years in the financial industry; 3–4 years in relationship management focusing on FI; 3–5 years trade finance product sales possible.
• Must have initiative to meet sales numbers and strong execution under tight timelines.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication in English and Chinese when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop forfaiting and trade finance business in terms of trade distribution and FI trade sales.
• Formulate and implement business development plans and ensure marketing activities align with Bank's strategies.
• Maintain and develop good relationships with FI customers and BOC networks.
• Set up new products according to customer needs and ensure distribution process is efficient.
• Ensure team operations comply with internal and external regulatory rules and regulations.
