Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Tooling Engineer to support tooling development, validation, and continuous improvement for manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production stakeholders to ensure tooling performance, quality, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing related discipline.
• 2+ years in tooling, mould engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with tooling, moulds, dies, fixtures, jigs, or manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and improvement of tooling, moulds, dies, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Participate in DFM reviews and provide engineering input during product development.
• Coordinate with toolmakers, suppliers, and vendors for tooling fabrication and changes.
• Support tooling trials, first article inspections, qualification activities, and issue resolution.
• Investigate tooling/process issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Operations to ensure production readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement to tooling performance, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and tooling lifecycle management.
• Occasional travel to supplier and manufacturing sites within the region.
