Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Tooling Engineer to support the tooling lifecycle from design through production, ensuring performance and manufacturability. You will work with cross-functional teams, suppliers and production stakeholders to drive tooling improvements and process optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Tooling engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of tooling, mould engineering, manufacturing engineering or related experience.
• Experience with tooling, moulds, dies, fixtures, jigs or manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, Creo/Pro-E, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining tolerances and engineering drawings.
• Exposure to DFM, tooling validation, FAI, NPI or production support is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills; able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support design, development and improvement of tooling and manufacturing equipment.
• Participate in DFM reviews and provide engineering input during product development.
• Coordinate with toolmakers, suppliers and vendors on tooling fabrication and changes.
• Support tooling trials, FAI, qualification activities and issue resolution.
• Investigate tooling/process issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI and Operations for product introduction and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement to tooling performance, product quality and efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and tooling lifecycle management; travel to regional sites as needed.
