Job summary

Well Established Company in Singapore East is seeking a Tooling/Toolroom Engineer to coordinate projects and ensure timely fabrication of moulds.

You will diagnose equipment issues, coach the team, and coordinate quality control to meet safety and project requirements.

Candidates with Higher Nitec or Diploma in Precision/Mechanical Eng are preferred; Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec or Diploma in Precision/Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of mould fabrication.
• Valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise the department projects and workload to meet time schedules.
• Diagnose machine and tooling malfunctions and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Coach and support the team and provide guidance on toolmaking issues.
• Coordinate inspection and quality control to meet Health and Safety requirements.
• Maintain documentation for tool room operations and advise on equipment needs.
• Collaborate with external vendors for quotes and timely delivery of parts.
• Contribute to continuously improving tool room efficiency and standards.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.
