Job summary

HI-P SINGAPORE PTE. LTD in Singapore seeks a Mold Design Engineer with 3+ years of related experience to design and develop molds, review tooling concepts, and ensure drawing quality.

You will lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with customers and suppliers on DFM and mold concepts to ensure on-time delivery. Job Responsibilities

• Handle mold and fixture designs, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality requirements.

• Maintain mold debugging trackers and lessons-learned documents.

• Liaise with customers and suppliers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM), mold concept reviews, and other relevant technical discussions.

• Lead and participate in design review meetings for new molds.

• Conduct peer reviews of mold designs and debugging drawings to ensure drawing quality and accuracy.

• Communicate and track mold debugging progress with the toolroom team.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers as necessary.
