Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Technical Consultant – Storage & Computing Solutions in Tokyo to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across cloud, storage, and computing environments.

You will translate enterprise architecture strategies into production deployments, collaborate with international teams, and drive automation, IaC, and cloud migration initiatives to improve scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or enterprise IT delivery.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms, automation, and virtualization.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Good communication and business English; Japanese proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise storage, computing clusters, and infra environments.
• Implement IaC frameworks with Terraform or Ansible.
• Engineer secure cloud migration strategies for enterprise data.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks across storage and virtualization.
• Create low-level design documents for offshore teams.
• Coordinate with international squads for deployment activities.
• Support modernization projects including cloud security and legacy migration.
• Participate in architecture reviews and planning sessions.
• Monitor performance and reliability of enterprise infrastructure.
• Drive automation and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
