Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Singapore seeks a Cybersecurity Intelligence Senior Associate to join the Intelligence Operations Team.

You will analyze malware, hunt threats, and build adaptive capabilities, with mentoring from senior analysts and collaboration across security disciplines. You will apply AI-assisted research to detect adversary tactics, review findings for accuracy, and contribute to risk assessments while maintaining strict data handling standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity intelligence, threat assessment, or security research, focusing on malware analysis/reverse engineering.
• Experience using AI capabilities to support threat intelligence workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted findings and risk recommendations while following security requirements.
• Basic coding/scripting experience (Python, C, JavaScript, VBScript).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (VMware).
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, OSINT, IDA Pro, Ghidra, BinaryNinja, Wireshark, Jupyter, SQL, YARA, AWS Lambda.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and understanding of OS, architectures, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced malware analysis and reverse engineering to investigate and mitigate threats.
• Develop malware detection signatures and automate analysis and intelligence processes.
• Research threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits to enhance monitoring and detection.
• Collaborate with Incident Response teams to support technical analysis of malicious events.
• Document findings in detailed technical reports and present to stakeholders.
• Communicate with business representatives, technology specialists, and vendors.
• Mentor peers in production and dissemination of intelligence reports.
• Contribute cybersecurity expertise to discussions on global technology infrastructure.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate threat research and risk assessment.
