POWER SYSTEMS R&D (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Staff Thermal Engineer to support our Kallang, Singapore based teams who build advanced thermal solutions for high-density power modules and energy storage products.
You’ll analyze feasibility, estimate performance, explore new technologies, and manage supplier relations. You will collaborate with design and other disciplines to balance trade-offs, stay current with standards and test methods, and drive thermal strategy reviews

What a typical day looks like:
Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture.
Perform thermal/acoustic estimation/verification against product requirements.
Research/implement new thermal technologies for high density powermoduleand energy storage products.
In charge of supplier management and cross functional communication.
Manage technical projects and collaborate with other internal teams andto supportthe execution process throughoutdevelopmentcycle.
Collaborate with design team to get resolution/path forward whenappropriate trade-offsrequiredbetween thermal and other disciplines (ie. EMC, SI, PCB design).
Keep up to date onappropriate standardsand test methodologies.
