Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Therapy Support staff to assist residents with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities, supporting physical function and daily activities under the supervision of PT and OT.

You will set up equipment, maintain a clean, safe therapy area, and observe progress, reporting developments to the occupational therapist. Prior healthcare or therapy experience is preferred, with relevant certifications required.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.
• Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy.
• Certification must be current and eligible for work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function
• Assist PT and OT with the activities for resident
• Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns
• Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe
• Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy session
