Job summary

Abercare PTE. LTD. is seeking a Healthcare Therapy Support Assistant to assist therapists during individual and group sessions, and to prepare materials and equipment.

You will support clients with prescribed activities and report any concerns to the clinical team. You will help coordinate schedules, admissions, discharges, and transport to ensure smooth service delivery. The role requires a Diploma in Healthcare or similar discipline, a related therapy services certificate, and at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Diploma in Healthcare and/or similar discipline.
• Certificate related to Therapy Services/Support.
• Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists during individual and group therapy sessions, including preparing materials, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Support clients with prescribed therapy activities and exercises under therapists' guidance and report concerns.
• Coordinate therapy schedules, assessments, reviews, admissions, discharges, and transport.
• Communicate with clients and next of kin regarding enquiries, appointments, transport, and centre updates.
• Maintain accurate client records, attendance, and other administrative records.
• Support monthly reporting, care planning meetings, and general centre operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised therapy environment with proper cleaning/storage of equipment.
