Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Therapy Support to assist residents with prescribed exercises and activities, helping enhance physical function under supervision of therapists.

You will support the occupational therapist during group sessions, monitor progress, and ensure equipment is setup safely while keeping meticulous records of milestones and concerns. This on-site role requires WSQ Healthcare Support or NITEC and at least 2 years in healthcare or therapy.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
• Min 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy

Responsibilities

• Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function
• Assist PT and OT with the activities for resident
• Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns
• Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe
• Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy session
