Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Therapy Support Assistant to assist residents through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities, and to support the physical therapy and occupational therapy teams during sessions.

You will monitor treatment compliance, record milestones, set up equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean therapy area while observing progress and reporting concerns to the therapists. Prior healthcare exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Assist PT and OT with therapy activities.
• Monitor treatment compliance and record milestones or concerns.
• Set up equipment for therapy sessions and maintain a clean, safe area.
• Observe and report resident progress to the occupational therapist.
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy sessions.
