Job summary

NTUC Health Co-Operative Ltd. is seeking a Therapy Associate to support reassessment, client care, and progression of therapy sessions under supervision.

The role involves collaborating with therapists, caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care across multiple nursing home locations. The ideal candidate holds a Physiotherapy degree, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is proficient in Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy or related disciplines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, plan, and treat residents/clients with various disabilities and conditions for optimal care.
• Consult therapist on care plans and rehab progression as necessary.
• Assist in conducting quality improvement projects.
• Conduct training for therapy assistants, therapy assistant students or other care staff as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and service standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams from other Business Units to ensure good client experience and service.

Job description

The Therapy Associate is responsible for conducting reassessment, providing client care and progressing individual therapy/group sessions including client education and caregiver training under the supervision/instruction of a therapist.

You will need to:

• Assess, evaluate, plan, and treat residents/clients with various disabilities and conditions for optimal care
• Consult therapist on care plans and rehab progression as necessary
• Assist in conducting quality improvement projects
• Conduct training for therapy assistants, therapy assistant students or other care staff as necessary
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and service standards
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams from other Business Units to ensure good client experience and service

You should:

• Have a recognised Degree in Physiotherapy or any related disciplines
• Thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Genuine interest to engage our seniors in the community
• Be proficient in Google Suite Applications

It would be great if you:

• Are open to travel to various locations for work
• Can speak more than one local language to communicate better with our elderly clients
