Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Therapy Support to assist residents with prescribed exercises, support occupational and physical therapists, and help monitor progress.

The role includes setting up equipment, maintaining a safe therapy area, and reporting any concerns to the therapist. Candidates should have at least 2 years of healthcare or therapy experience and possess the WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years experience in healthcare or therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance overall physical function.
• Assist PT and OT with the activities for resident.
• Monitor treatment compliance and record developmental milestones or concerns.
• Setup equipment for therapy session and ensure area is clean and safe.
• Observe and report resident progress or challenges to the occupational therapist.
• Support the occupational therapist during group therapy session.
