Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is assisting a leading healthcare provider near Marymount MRT to recruit a Therapy Aide. Working Mon–Fri, 8am to 5pm, this role offers transport at the MRT and a 5-day work week.

You will assist therapists in assessing patients, supporting treatment plans, and ensuring hygiene and safety in therapy areas. The position requires 1–2 years of therapy aide experience, GCE 'N/O' Levels, and a relevant certificate (or NITEC).

Qualifications

• GCE 'N/O' Levels.
• Certificate in Therapy Services / Support or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services preferred.
• Preferably 1 – 2 years therapy aide experience in healthcare setting.
• Preferably bilingual and ability to communicate in local dialects.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to infection control procedures.
• Assist therapists in assessing patients' status for suitability to start therapy sessions or continue with therapy sessions.
• Assist therapists in carrying out treatment plans either individually or in a group setting.
• Communicate relevant information regarding therapy sessions timely, e.g. vital signs, symptoms.
• Educate clients on the use of therapeutic aids or assistive devices as prescribed by therapists.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas.
• Maintain inventories and equipment for the department.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Perform therapy plans as instructed by therapists.
• Prepare patients, materials and equipment for therapy.
• Assist patients with personal care and hygiene needs as required.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping and workplace organisation at all times.
• Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Up to S$3.5K Basic+allowances+bonuses!
