Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our client, a leading healthcare provider, on a rotating 5-day schedule with on-call duties. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, and coordination with physicians and families at a facility near Marymount MRT in Singapore.

Applicants should have a NITEC in Nursing and be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board; hospital or hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Nursing or equivalent with SNB registration.
• Post-registration hospital or hospice experience preferred.
• Knowledge in IT and systems; strong service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care and documentation.
• Allocate equipment to meet care needs and maintain infection control.
• Communicate with patients and families; build rapport and trust.
• Support doctors; deliver direct patient care; assess conditions under supervision.
• Participate in MDT meetings for coordinated care delivery.
• Ensure drug/storage compliance and safe handling of supplies.
• Document patient conditions and liaise on referrals and attendances.
• Administer non-IV medications and manage IV changes under supervision.
• Ensure continuity of care and adherence to treatment plans.
• Contribute to palliative nursing care under supervision.

• 5 days work week (on call on weekends/PH)/ Near Marymount MRT / Transport provided at MRT

• Prior exp with Oncology / Palliative Care is advantageous!

Our client is a leading Healthcare provider

Responsibilities:

• Ensure nursing care services rendered are safe, competent and individualised. Uphold nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring and infection control.

• Allocates equipment as necessary to assure adequacy of resources to meet care requirements.

• Communicate and build rapport with patients and their families or caregivers.

• Assist in the care of patient through an advising physician, provide direct patient care, evaluate patients’ conditions, and serve as the liaison between families and physicians under supervision of a Staff Nurse as required.

• Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meeting to provide smooth delivery of patient care and services.

• Observe organisation and legal requirements regarding storage and control of drugs and medical supplies.

• Assist in or keep active measures to ensure the safety of patients under supervision of a Staff Nurse as required.

• Assist in or maintain proper documentation of patients’ condition and accurate collation of data (record of referral / enquiry / attendances) under supervision of a Staff Nurse as required.

• Assist in or perform nursing care such as administration of oral, IM and SC medication (exclude controlled drugs and IV injection), change of IV therapy fluids (exclude blood products), removal of IV cannulae and wound dressing under supervision of a Staff Nurse as required. All phone orders for medications must be verified by a Staff Nurse.

• Follow up to ensure continuity of patient care and treatment plans.

• Assist in or participates in the delivery of palliative nursing care under the supervision of a Staff Nurse as required.

• Observe the proper use / care of the equipment and economical use of consumables and supplies.

• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in matters involving patient care.

• Maintain a conducive and safe patient care environment.

• Undertake to impart relevant patient care and management knowledge to the Patient Care Assistants.

• Enforce compliance with the Singapore Nursing Board's Standards of Practice for Nurses and Midwives, and the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

• Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation at all times.

• Initiate and drive continuous improvements in own work area on regular basis.

• Any other duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• NITEC in Nursing or equivalent and registered with Singapore Nursing Board. Post-registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting preferred.

• Knowledge in IT and systems.

• Passion to serve and provide excellent customer service to various stakeholders.

• Working Days/Hours: Rotating 5 days work week (7am-4pm / 1pm-10pm / 9pm-730am)

• Location: Near Marymount MRT (Transport provided at MRT)

• Up to S$4K Basic+allowances+bonuses!
