Job summary

Avon Industries Pte Ltd, a leader in industrial engineering solutions, seeks a Testing & Commissioning Manager to oversee all testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are safely commissioned, fully operational, and compliant with project specs and client requirements.

You will lead the testing team on-site, develop ITPs, and coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients and subcontractors to meet project timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong decision-making, planning and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans, including inspection procedures, checklists, and schedules.
• Lead, train and supervise the testing and commissioning team to carry out activities effectively.
• Conduct on-site testing, inspections and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and integrated systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, project managers, clients and subcontractors to meet timelines.
• Prepare, review and maintain commissioning documentation including ITPs, reports and handover docs.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with specifications, quality systems and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning with corrective actions.
• Verify all installed systems are integrated, tested and functioning before handover.
• Support successful project completion and handover by fulfilling commissioning requirements.

As a Testing& Commissioning Manager, you will lead and oversee all testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are safely commissioned, fully operational, and compliant with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans, including inspection procedures, checklists, and testing schedules.
• Lead, train, and supervise the testing and commissioning team, ensuring they are equipped to carry out commissioning activities effectively.
• Conduct and oversee on-site testing, inspections, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems to verify compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, site supervisors, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure testing and commissioning activities are carried out according to project timelines.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all commissioning documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans(ITPs), commissioning reports, checklists, test records, and handover documentation.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality management systems, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues arising during testing and commissioning, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Verify that all installed systems are fully integrated, tested, and functioning as intended before project handover.
• Support the successful completion and handover of projects by ensuring all commissioning requirements have been fulfilled.

What We’re Looking For
