Job summary

Avon Industries Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to own projects from planning to completion, coordinating with clients, engineers, technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely, quality delivery.

You will assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones. The role requires strong leadership, engineering background, and the ability to manage multiple priorities safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 5 years in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Support the day-to-day management of project activities, resources, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Assist in manpower planning, material procurement, logistics, and equipment coordination.
• Attend project, operational, and safety meetings, and follow up on action items.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Support the Project Manager in resolving site issues and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management
