Job summary

PERSOL is hiring for an electrical/electro-mechanical assembly role at Upper Changi, Singapore. The position involves hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and reading schematics, with multiple shifts and a 1-year contract that may convert to permanent based on performance and business needs.

Salary offered is up to 3600 SGD per month as base, plus completion bonus, shift allowances, and transport support.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Job description

Salary: up to $3600/month (basic) + completion bonus + shift allowance

Duration: 1 year contract - extendable/convertible to perm based on performance & business needs

Work location: Upper Changi

Working Hours: multiple shifts available

Working Hours and Shift Arrangements

Current Shift Schedule – Immediate Until December:

• - Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• - Noon Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM ($500+ Allowance/month) & transport provided
• - Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 9:00 AM ($700+ Allowance/month) & transport provided

12-Hour Rotating Shift – From January:

• - 12 hours rotating shift (4 days' work, 3 days off, 3 days' work, 4 days off).
• - Morning shift - 7AM to 7PM - Allowance: $20 per shift (around $300–$320/month in allowance)
• - Night shift - 7PM to 7AM - Allowance: $45 per shift (around $680-$700/month)
