Job summary

INGRASYS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Test Engineer to assist engineers in NPI and sustaining projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to test requirements.

You will diagnose test failures and work with process and test engineers to drive continuous yield and performance improvements. The role requires a Nitec or Diploma in engineering with 1–3 years of testing experience, good teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure on a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in executing all test-related tasks for NPI and sustaining projects, ensuring smooth delivery and adherence to test requirements.
• Perform product testing, diagnose test failures, and collaborate with process and test engineers to improve yield and performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update and maintain accurate test tracking records for analysis and reporting.
• Prepare, review, and update Work Instructions to reflect latest test processes and best practices.
• Ensure knowledge transfer of procedures to Material Handlers and other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in executing all test-related tasks for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining projects, ensuring smooth project delivery and adherence to test requirements

• Perform product testing, diagnose test failures, and collaborate closely with process and test engineers to drive continuous yield and performance improvements.

• Ensure work processes comply with relevant ISO standards and actively participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Update and maintain accurate test tracking records to support analysis and reporting.

• Prepare, review, and update Work Instructions to reflect the latest test processes and best practices.

• Ensuring knowledge pass down for Material Handlers and other relevant personnel based on updated Work Instructions.

Requirements

• Nitec and Diploma qualification in engineering with at least 1-3 years of working experience in testing and debug environment

• Good team player

• Ability to work with Peers, engineers, and superiors

• Able to multi-task & work under pressure

• Comfortable to perform shift work

• Good understanding of test methods and concepts

• Knowledge of programming and debugging skills
