The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a Test Technician/Engineer to develop, execute, and document test plans and scripts based on product specs.
You will work with developers, perform manual and automated testing including regression and performance, log defects, and contribute to QA processes.
Location: Based in Singapore (Transport provided from JB-SG/SG-JB)
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
Analyze requirements and user stories to identify gaps and create effective test scenarios.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
Execute both manual and automated tests to validate product functionality.
Identify, log, and track defects using test or bug-tracking tools.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Work with developers to create and maintain testing environments and automation frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Verify that products meet standards for performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
Document test procedures, test results, issues found, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
Suggest improvements and optimizations for both products and testing processes.
Minimum High School / Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Test Technician/Test Engineer or in software/hardware testing.
Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript, and with the SDLC process.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Good understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Able to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Taiwan counterparts.
Shift Allowance:
- Morning Shift: SGD 100/month
- Night Shift: SGD 400/month
- Night Shift Meal Allowance: SGD 100/month
Transport: Provided (JB - SG - JB)
- Tentative pickup route: Kulai / Senai - Singapore
Morning Shift: 7:20 AM – 7:20 PM
Breaks: 11:20 AM - 12:20 PM, 4:20 PM - 5:20 PM
Night Shift: 7:20 PM – 7:20 AM
Breaks: 11:20 PM - 12:20 AM, 4:20 AM - 5:20 AM
