Technician (Test Equipment)

Job summary

UST in Singapore is seeking a Technician to perform basic and higher level debugging through root cause analysis to resolve test-related issues and improve equipment consistency to meet production goals.

You will document test results, verify engineering work orders, and assist in evaluating equipment upgrades and maintenance activities per engineering requests and procedures. The role requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to support production needs on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in relevant engineering fields with minimum 3 years related working experience (Senior Technician and above).
• Ability to work independently and interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Document test results and generate result/report timely.
• Verification of all engineering work orders and release of work orders to the lab.

Job description

• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 3 years related working experience

Shift Work Schedule:

Technician is required to follow Company’s shift work schedule as specified below. In the event that changes to the existing shift schedule is needed, Company shall provide 1week notification via e-mail.

Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday: 7:00 -19:00

Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday: 7:00-19:00

Note:

Standard hours is equivalent to 40hrs per week (standard hours) and anything beyond the standard hours will be charged accordingly as overtime as long as >3hrs.
