STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated software developer to join the Test R&D Software Solution team within Global Technology R&D. You will develop scalable software platforms that accelerate testing design and manufacturing through automation, enabling robotization readiness across factories.

The role involves collaborating with international teams, applying C#, C++, Java, Python, and SQL skills to build test cell controllers, data processing tools, and monitoring

Qualificações

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, or computer science.
• 1–2 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
• Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• To develop and qualify the test cell controller and test execution frameworks used in the manufacturing environment.
• To develop and release tools or system focusing on test data processing at product level.
• Analyzing processes to automate them using standard technology bricks
• To design, develop and release tools or systems focusing on test development and process monitoring tools.
• Conducting technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions
• Reporting the project status to executive managers

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented software developer to join our Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D organization. You will be responsible for developing and delivering advanced and scalable software platforms that accelerate the testing design and development as well as building the foundations for efficient test manufacturing through equipment automation including enabling equipment robotization readiness. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary, and multicultural environment, interacting with factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance, suppliers, and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

You will be contributing to implementing ST's vision and roadmap towards Industry 4.0 with below key responsibilities:

• To develop and qualify the test cell controller and test execution frameworks used in the manufacturing environment.
• To develop and release tools or system focusing on test data processing at product level.
• Analyzing processes to automate them using standard technology bricks
• To design, develop and release tools or systems focusing on test development and process monitoring tools.
• Conducting technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions
• Reporting the project status to executive managers

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector
• Knowledge of C#, C++ languages and solid foundations in object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Git and versioning in general
• Knowledge of databases and SQL, SQLite languages
• Knowledge of XML and XSD formats
