Job summary

OCBC is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across Trading, Wealth Management, Treasury, and Digital Banking platforms in Singapore. The role demands strong domain knowledge, hands-on test leadership, and a proven track record in Agile delivery and test automation transformation within large-scale banking environments.

You will drive end-to-end testing, define strategy and plans, coordinate across cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery excellence with robust risk management

Qualifications

• 10+ years in testing in Banking/Financial Services
• 5+ years in Test Management
• Experience with multiple testing levels and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing across Trading & Wealth platforms (SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration)
• Define test strategy, scope, plans, resources, and quality standards
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and vendors
• Drive Agile testing practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Review and approve test scenarios, cases, RTM, reports, and closures
• Manage test execution, defect triage, risk ID, and release readiness
• Promote test automation and continuous testing to improve quality
• Provide estimates, resource planning, and cost assessments for initiatives
• Report progress, quality metrics, risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management

How you succeed

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing delivery across Trading, Wealth Management, Treasury, and Digital Banking platforms. The role requires strong expertise in functional testing, Agile delivery, test automation, stakeholder management, and banking domain knowledge.

What you do

• Lead end-to-end testing across Trading & Wealth platforms, including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration Testing.
• Define test strategy, scope, test plans, resource plans, and quality standards for project delivery.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive Agile testing practices by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review and approve test scenarios, test cases, RTM, test reports, and test closure deliverables.
• Manage test execution, defect triage, risk identification, and release readiness.
• Drive adoption of test automation and continuous testing practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Provide testing estimates, resource planning, and cost assessments for new initiatives.
• Report testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

Who you are

• 10+ years of testing experience in Banking and Financial Services, with at least 5 years in Test Management.
• Strong domain expertise in Wealth Management, Trading, Treasury, Securities, and Order Management lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience managing SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and leading testing across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools.
• Knowledge of T24, TAP, OMS platforms, and trading systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, FINIQ, MarginMan, and digital banking channels is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• ISTQB Test Manager, Agile, or relevant testing certifications are preferred.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

• Securities: Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, IPOs, Private Markets.
• Treasury Products: FX, Loans, Deposits, IRS, CCS.
• Derivatives: Options, Structured Notes, Accumulators, Decumulators.
• Trade Lifecycle, Credit Risk Management, Client Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, and Core Banking systems.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on Test Manager with strong Trading & Wealth domain expertise, proven Agile delivery experience, and a track record of driving functional testing excellence and test automation transformation within large-scale banking environments.
