Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Test Lead to oversee core banking projects in Singapore. You will lead testing strategy, planning, and end-to-end delivery, including automation and non-functional testing.

The role requires coordinating multiple teams across locations and driving quality improvements. The ideal candidate brings extensive Temenos T24 experience in private banking, strong automation skills with Selenium, and solid Agile/DevOps know-how.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of test leadership experience on Temenos T24 projects, preferably in private banking.
• Strong knowledge of Temenos T24 modules and TPH (Temenos Payment Hub).
• Experience with test automation (Selenium) and DevOps concepts to drive automation.
• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and familiarity with JIRA/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor testing teams for functional, regression, automation, and non-functional testing.
• Own test strategy, planning, data management, environment planning, and test closure.
• Collaborate with BA and development teams to improve upstream software quality.
• Provide risk assessment, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications.

GENERAL DE ION

The candidate will be the Test Lead for Core banking projects and responsible for test strategy & planning, automation, NFR and end-to-end testing delivery ownership.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Functional / Technical

• Lead and mentor testing teams for functional testing, regression, automation, NFR for large Temenos T24 projects in the Private banking domain.
• Test planning and execution including the test design, data management, environment planning, automation, non-functional testing, regression, defect management and test closure
• Review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications to define test approach, scope and test plan.
• Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals.
• Status reporting and able to drive the defect management across multiple teams.
• Proactively raise issues, risks and recommend optimal solutions.
• Work with the BA and Dev teams to drive even the upstream software quality (Requirements, Development Solutions)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

Technical and Functional

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in test lead role for T24 projects, preferably with Private Banking
• Good knowledge of TPH (Temenos Payment Hub) modules
• Excellent knowledge of T24 modules for these domains
• Excellent knowledge of and exposure to testing of T24 integration, COB testing, Client output
• Excellent knowledge of SWIFT message testing, regulatory reports
• Expertise in financial accounting for all asset types
• Expertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
• Good know how of JAVA and experience in Automation, DevOps is an advantage
• Understanding / Experience of Automation tools (Selenium) and DevOps concepts to drive Automation in projects.
• Agile planning tools – JIRA, Confluence
