Test Engineering Technician

Job summary

UST in Singapore seeks a Technician to perform basic and higher level debugging through root cause analysis to resolve test issues and improve equipment consistency toward production goals.

You will document test results, verify engineering work orders, and release them to the lab, and participate in evaluating upgrades and maintenance per procedures. The role requires a Diploma or NITEC in a related engineering field with 2+ years of experience; shift-based schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in debugging and root-cause analysis is preferred.
• Willingness to work in shifts per schedule.

Shift Work Schedule:

Technician isrequired to follow Company’s shift work schedule as specified below.In the event that changes to the existing shift schedule is needed, Company shall provide1week notification via e-mail.

Shift Working days Start Time End time

F Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday 7:00 19:00

G Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday 7:00 19:00

Note: Standard hours is equivalent to 40hrs per week (standard hours) and anything beyond the standard hours will be charged accordingly as overtime as long as >3hrs.

Flexibility of Working Hours:Technician isrequired to support flexibility in working hours based on product execution needs from time to time.

Works independently and can interact with cross functional teams well.

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering (minimum 2+ years for Senior Technician and above related working experience). Or
• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 2+ years related working experience.
