Job summary

UST GLOBAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Technician to perform basic and advanced debugging via root cause analysis, document results, and coordinate with lab teams to ensure timely release of work orders.

The role requires flexibility to work the company’s shift schedule and to participate in equipment upgrades and maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to document test results and generate reports.
• Willingness to work a shift-based schedule and interact with cross-functional teams.

Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering

NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering

Job description

Experience: 3+ year

Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving test related issues / provide input to improve equipment consistency to achieve production goals and objectives.

• Document test results and generate result/report timely.
• Verification of all engineering work order and release of work orders to the lab.

Execute engineering evaluation of equipment upgrades/enhancements and lab equipment maintenance activities per engineering request/procedure.

Shift Work Schedule:

Technician isrequired to follow Company’s shift work schedule as specified below.In the event that changes to the existing shift schedule is needed, Company shall provide1week notification via e-mail.

Shift Working days Start Time End time

F Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday 7:00 19:00

G Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday 7:00 19:00

Note: Standard hours is equivalent to 40hrs per week (standard hours) and anything beyond the standard hours will be charged accordingly as overtime as long as >3hrs.

Flexibility of Working Hours:

Technician isrequired to support flexibility in working hours based on product execution needs from time to time.

Works independently and can interact with cross functional teams well.

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering (minimum 3 years for Senior Technician and above related working experience). Or
• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 3 years related working experience
