Job summary

UST Global is seeking a technician with 2–4 years of experience in test and debugging to perform root cause analysis and improve equipment reliability. The role requires documentation of results and timely reporting, plus verification and release of work orders to the lab.

Applicants should be capable of evaluating equipment upgrades and coordinating maintenance, with flexibility to adapt to the company’s shift schedule and cross-functional projects.

Job description

Experience: 2 - 4 years

• Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving test related issues / provide input to improve equipment consistency to achieve production goals and objectives.

• Document test results and generate result/report timely.
• Verification of all engineering work order and release of work orders to the lab.

• Execute engineering evaluation of equipment upgrades/enhancements and lab equipment maintenance activities per engineering request/procedure.

Shift Work Schedule:

Technician isrequired to follow Company’s shift work schedule as specified below.In the event that changes to the existing shift schedule is needed, Company shall provide1week notification via e-mail.

F Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday 7:00 19:00

G Wednesday/Thursday to Saturday 7:0 19:00

Note: Standard hours is equivalent to 40hrs per week (standard hours) and anything beyond the standard hours will be charged accordingly as overtime as long as >3hrs.

Flexibility of Working Hours: Technician isrequired to support flexibility in working hours based on product execution needs from time to time.

• Works independently and can interact with cross functional teams well.

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering (minimum 2+ years for Senior Technician and above related working experience). Or
• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 2+ years related working experience.
