Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong background in Functional Testing, Manual Testing, and REST API testing.
• Solid hands-on experience with JIRA (Xray is a plus).
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium/Cucumber/TestNG tools is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy: Define, build, and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategy documents, and test cases aligned with requirements.
• Test Automation & ing: Develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated tests; integrate automation into CI/CD (GitLab/Jenkins).
• Manual & Functional Testing: Perform hands-on testing, design test cases, track defects, and validate across sprints.
• API & System Testing: Execute REST API testing and configure environments, mock data, and tools.
• Troubleshooting & Defect Tracking: Analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, log issues via JIRA, and collaborate with developers to resolve bottlenecks.
• Quality & Code Standards: Follow best engineering practices, version control (Git branches), and security scanning.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Singapore. In this role, you will design test plans, build automated test s, perform hands‑on API and functional testing, and collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure high software quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy: Define, build, and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategy documents, and test cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Test Automation & ing: Develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated test s. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins).
• Manual & Functional Testing: Perform hands‑on manual functional testing, test case design, defect tracking, and end‑to‑end validation across Agile sprints.
• API & System Testing: Execute REST API testing and configure test environments, mock data, and test tools.
• Troubleshooting & Defect Tracking: Analyze test results, conduct root cause analysis, log issues via JIRA, and partner with developers to resolve bottlenecks.
• Quality & Code Standards: Adhere to best engineering practices, clean code policies, version control (Git branching), and security scanning.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Core Expertise: Strong background in Functional Testing, Manual Testing, and REST API testing.
• Issue & Test Management: Solid hands‑on experience with JIRA (experience with Xray is a plus).
• Automation Frameworks: Experience with Playwright is highly advantageous. Exposure to tools like Selenium and Cucumber and TestNG or Appium is beneficial.
• CI/CD & Version Control: Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration using GitLab (preferred) or Jenkins.
• Development Background: Prior hands‑on experience or familiarity with Spring Boot (or similar Java frameworks) is preferred.
• Domain Knowledge (Plus): Understanding of E-Banking, Digital Payments, or Trading platforms is a strong advantage.
