Job summary

Helius Technologies in Singapore seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design test plans, build automated tests, and perform API and functional testing within an Agile IT team.

You will collaborate with developers to ensure software quality, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and uphold coding and security standards.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, WFO in Singapore, and a 12-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Functional Testing, Manual Testing, and REST API testing.
• Solid hands-on experience with JIRA (Xray is a plus).
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium/Cucumber/TestNG tools is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy: Define, build, and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategy documents, and test cases aligned with requirements.
• Test Automation & ing: Develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated tests; integrate automation into CI/CD (GitLab/Jenkins).
• Manual & Functional Testing: Perform hands-on testing, design test cases, track defects, and validate across sprints.
• API & System Testing: Execute REST API testing and configure environments, mock data, and tools.
• Troubleshooting & Defect Tracking: Analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, log issues via JIRA, and collaborate with developers to resolve bottlenecks.
• Quality & Code Standards: Follow best engineering practices, version control (Git branches), and security scanning.
