Job summary

Fusion Trade Pte Ltd is seeking a Test Engineer to support semiconductor and electronic component testing, quality assurance and counterfeit screening, as well as test system development.

You will perform daily testing, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and assist with RMA investigations while ensuring adherence to ISO 17025 and customer requirements. Collaboration with experienced professionals will foster growth and expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in semiconductor/electronics testing or quality engineering.
• Experience with laboratory test equipment and ISO/IEC 17025 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support component authentication, counterfeit detection and quality screening per customer specs.
• Perform electrical, functional and reliability testing on semiconductor devices and electronic components.
• Assist with customer RMA investigations, failure verification and defect analysis, and communicate findings clearly.
• Develop, maintain and enhance test procedures, test software and test platforms to improve coverage, throughput and reliability.
• Analyse test data to deliver pass/fail dispositions and well-documented reports.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/test system issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
• Maintain test equipment, fixtures, calibration records and documentation for traceability and audits.
• Uphold ISO 17025 laboratory practices in all testing activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen test methods and efficiency.

We are looking for a Test Engineer to support semiconductor and electronic component testing, quality and counterfeit screening, and test system development activities. In this role, you will perform daily testing and quality verification, develop and execute test methodologies, analyse test results, troubleshoot failures, and support RMA investigations. You will also ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations, including ISO 17025 laboratory practices.

What We're Looking For!

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor testing, electronics testing, quality engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators and power supplies.
• Knowledge of ESD practices, failure analysis, quality systems and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management and prioritization, with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, and able to work independently and within a team.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred / Advantages

• Experience testing CPUs, ICs, memory or other electronic components.
• Experience with LabVIEW, C#, test automation or PCBA troubleshooting.
