Job summary

Fusion Worldwide in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented tester for CPU/IC inspection and quality assurance. You will conduct tests on inbound electronic components according to process documents, identify counterfeit or non-conforming parts, and document results with images and notes.

You will maintain test software and BIOS updates, report non-conformances, and help quarantine items while supporting QA with timely data and recommendations to improve product quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of test or inspection experience in Semicon/Electronics.
• Proficiency with test equipment listed.
• Solid knowledge of QA principles and quality systems.
• Proactive, high-energy, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on inbound electronic components/IC according to process docs and customer requirements.
• Perform counterfeit inspection and report results to QA, Warehouse, and Commodity Managers.
• Document testing procedures and results, including digital images, microscopy, and other methods.
• Maintain and update software revisions and BIOS updates for all tests.
• Proper disposition of components after testing; quarantining failed items as needed.
• Provide monthly updates on activities and suggestions to improve tested products.

Job description

As a member of our organization, you are responsible for CPU/IC testing and go/no-go decisions on CPU/IC’s that go through the test center. Completes testing process and ensure that proper actions are being taken to screen for part quality/counterfeit and conformity. Exhibits proper use and maintenance use of all test tools and equipment

What can you do for us!

• Conducts tests on inbound Electronic Components/IC according to the process doc and customer requirements or results of incoming inspection.
• Makes counterfeit inspection. Reports results to Quality, Warehouse, and Commodity Managers.
• Detailed inspection of components and identification of non-conformities and potential counterfeit and proper documentation of digital images, microscopy, and other methods and tools as described in the process documentation.
• Learning and disseminating information concerning new methods to identify.
• Proper completion of all inspection processes and the filling of the quality section of the receiver. Send out non-conformances to the CM team.
• Proper disposition of Electronic Components/IC once testing is completed to ensure that Electronic Component /IC that pass go into good locations and those that fail are quarantined.
• Maintain and update proper software revisions and bios updates for all Electronic Components /IC tests.
• Provide maintenance on boards and equipment as needed to maintain proper operation of the boards. Proper handling and ESD protection of all Electronic Components.
• Document all the testing procedures, results, and suggestions.
• Provide monthly updates on activities and suggestions in workflow and equipment to improve tested products with a goal of 0 defects.
• Maintaining board database as new platforms are brought into operation.

Who we’re looking for!

• At least 2 years of relevant test or inspection experience in the Semicon/Electronics or related industry
• Proficient in handling test equipment like parameter analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector analyzers power supply, signal generator, digital multimeter, curve tracer is a strong advantage.
• Proficient with standard business tools (email, voicemail, MS Office 365, etc)
• Good knowledge of quality systems and QA principles, practices, and standards
