Job summary

QUANTUM AUTOMATION PTE LTD is seeking a hardware/firmware test engineer to develop and run comprehensive test plans for multiple products. You will execute functional, integration, regression, stress, and performance tests, validating firmware across diverse hardware setups and conditions.

You will document results, assist in qualification and manufacturing testing, and contribute to production releases. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with a focus on practical workshop skills and clear

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product and system requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, stress, performance, reliability, and boundary testing.
• Validate firmware functionality across hardware configurations and operating conditions.
• Debug hardware and firmware issues using schematics, datasheets, logs, traces, and measurement data.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, validation records, and automated test results.
• Support product qualification, design verification, manufacturing testing, and production release activities.

Requirements &Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent relevant discipline.
• 1+years of proven experience in hardware/firmware design, integration, prototyping, and testing.
• Entry Level is welcome.
• Practical workshop skills (e.g., fine-pitch soldering, laboratory equipment usage).
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, including functional, integration, stress, and performance testing for precision instruments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and present technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
