Job summary

HELIUS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a QA Tester with banking domain experience to join our software testing team. The role focuses on both web and mobile applications, emphasizing end-to-end testing and collaboration with product owners.

You will implement test strategies, write JBehave-based scenarios, and drive defect management using JIRA, with hands-on automation using Selenium or Appium.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in web and mobile application testing in banking industry.
• Strong analytic skills to translate complex requirements into end-to-end test cases.
• Familiar with Agile and waterfall methodologies and testing life cycle for manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with JBehave; automation QA using Selenium or Appium; JIRA knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication, able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution of the test strategy with the product owner, JBehave writing, defect management, and live verification support.
• Write and execute end-to-end test scenarios for manual or automated testing; prepare test plans and summaries.

Job description

Job Requirement:

• Minimum1 years’ experience in web and mobile application testing in the bankingindustry is required.
• Strong analytic skills to process complex requirement to come up with end to end scenarios and test cases
• Familiar with Agile and waterfall methodology, and understand the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing
• Have experience in running or being part of an agile project team in bankingindustry and have had hands on experience on JBehave
• Understanding Java and VB Scripting will be an advantage, for automationQA role hands on usual of selenium or Appium is a must for consideration
• Experience with Quality assurance processes and JIRA is a must
• Good stakeholder engagement skills with strong verbal and written communication is required as will need to collaborate closely across multiple teams during project execution
• Good team player with strong organizational skills and can work independently with minimum guidance

Key Accountabilities

1. 1. Responsible for end to end execution of the overall test strategy developedcollectively with the product owner from user story acceptance criteria,JBehave writing, execution of testing and defects management to liveverification support.
2. 2. Expected to be an expert in banking domain and able to write test plan and testing summary documents. To write and execute end to end test scenarios withdetailed steps as per requirements either via manual or automation testing.
