Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a dedicated manual tester to verify core banking applications in Singapore. You will design and execute test scenarios and scripts from business requirements, covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Collaborating with Business Analysts and developers, you will validate end-to-end banking workflows, ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity, and manage defects through JIRA or HP ALM to timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in manual testing of core banking applications.
• Experience designing detailed test scenarios, test cases and scripts from business requirements.
• Knowledge of regression, integration and UAT testing.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and data integrity expectations.

Perform manual testing of Core Banking applications

Design, review, and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements, ensuring comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coverage.

Validate end-to-end banking workflows by collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and operational standards.

Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Verify data accuracy and transaction processing across Core Banking modules, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and seamless integration with downstream banking applications.
