Job summary

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Lead AI & LLM Solution Architect to drive technical success and enterprise adoption of Tencent Cloud's AI platform globally. You will lead engagements, design scalable AI architectures, and collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.

You will work with TokenHub, Hy foundation models, and MCP to solve multi-industry challenges while shaping the platform's future across markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Generative AI, LLMs, ML, cloud, or solution architecture.
• Experience leading complex customer-facing technical engagements.
• Strong English; Mandarin preferred to collaborate with China HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements for strategic enterprise customers across AI discovery, design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect enterprise-scale AI/LLM solutions using TokenHub, Hy models, and MCP ecosystem.
• Drive customer engineering initiatives to prototype, validate, deploy, and optimize production AI apps and cloud-native architectures.
• Conduct workshops, design reviews, POCs, and production-readiness assessments to accelerate adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Research to influence roadmap and best practices.
• Mentor architects and govern complex engagements; represent Tencent Cloud in executive forums and events.

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Lead AI & LLM Solution Architect to drive the technical success and enterprise adoption of Tencent Cloud's AI platform across global markets. This role combines technical leadership, customer engineering, and solution architecture to help strategic customers design, build, deploy, and scale production-ready AI applications. Leveraging Tencent Cloud's AI portfolio, including TokenHub, Tencent Hy foundation models, leading third-party Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem, you will partner closely with enterprise customers, Product, Engineering, Research, and Commercial teams to solve complex AI challenges while shaping the future evolution of Tencent Cloud's AI platform. Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements for strategic enterprise customers, serving as the primary technical advisor throughout AI solution discovery, architecture design, implementation, deployment, optimization, and long-term adoption.
• Architect enterprise-scale AI and LLM solutions leveraging Tencent Cloud TokenHub, Tencent Hy foundation models, AI Agents, MCP ecosystem, and enterprise AI services to address complex business challenges across multiple industries.
• Drive customer engineering initiatives by partnering directly with customer engineering teams to prototype, validate, deploy, and optimize production-ready AI applications and cloud-native AI architectures.
• Lead complex technical workshops, architecture reviews, executive briefings, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), technical evaluations, and production readiness assessments to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.
• Partner closely with Sales leadership on strategic pursuits, technical proposals, RFPs, tender responses, executive customer engagements, and large-scale AI transformation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to influence product roadmap, prioritize customer-driven enhancements, improve developer experience, and continuously strengthen Tencent Cloud's AI platform.
• Establish reusable implementation methodologies, reference architectures, technical assets, and best practices while providing technical mentoring and architecture governance across complex customer engagements.
• Represent Tencent Cloud at executive forums, customer innovation workshops, technical conferences, and industry events to strengthen Tencent Cloud's AI thought leadership across global markets.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, cloud computing, software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise technical consulting, including leading complex customer-facing technical engagements.
• Deep expertise across enterprise AI technologies including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), model fine-tuning, inference optimization, vector databases, AI workflow orchestration, API integration, and cloud-native AI architectures.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise AI applications on public cloud platforms, with practical knowledge of model deployment, inference optimization, observability, and production operations.
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy, influence executive stakeholders, mentor solution architects or engineering teams, and drive successful customer outcomes across complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is required to collaborate with China headquarters on product strategy, technical planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and a passion for emerging AI technologies with the ability to bridge customer needs, product innovation, and business growth.
