Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic, within the Business & the Creatives (BC) Cluster, seeks a Temporary Project Officer to support outreach, student development, marketing, and engagement initiatives. The role involves planning and marketing events, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and producing content for SB and MAD.

You will work closely with MAD and SB students, alumni, and staff to plan campaigns, create content, and manage event logistics.

Qualifications

• Qualification in communications, marketing, media, business, events management, education, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to write, edit, and present information clearly.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills for multiple tasks and events.
• Comfortable working with students, alumni, vendors, and internal stakeholders to collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, CMS, or basic design tools is a plus.
• Experience in events coordination, digital marketing, outreach, or stakeholder management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Business & the Creatives (BC) Cluster in Singapore Polytechnic is looking to hire a Temporary Project Officer to support outreach, student development, marketing, and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, execution, and marketing support of events organised by the BC Outreach and BC Student Development teams.
• Coordinate administrative and operational services with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to support the achievement of teams’ objectives.
• Support social media content planning, creation, scheduling, and event coverage, while working alongside students from the KOL Club for Media, Art & Design School (MAD) and School of Business (SB).
• Support website content development for SB and MAD, including writing and editing articles, coordinating updates, and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate SB and MAD campaigns, including photoshoots and liaising with alumni and student talents.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualification in communications, marketing, media, business, events management, education, or a related discipline.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write, edit, and present information clearly and professionally.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, stakeholders, and event logistics.
• Comfortable working with students, alumni, vendors, and internal stakeholders in a tactful and collaborative manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, basic design tools, or website content management systems would be an advantage.
• Prior experience in events coordination, digital marketing, communications, outreach, student engagement, or stakeholder management would be advantageous.

Contract Duration: Able to commit till August 2027
