Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a Dietary Services Assistant to support diet control administration and patient meal coordination at our Queenstown facility. You will handle meal-related inquiries, generate daily meal summaries, and assist with meal assembly and tray preparation in a busy healthcare setting.

The role requires an NITEC or Diploma in Food Science/Nutrition, WSQ Food Safety Level 1, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in related field.
• Experience in food services, healthcare, catering or similar operations preferred.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate required.
• Good communication, interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage diet control administration and patient meal-related matters.
• Handle phone calls, enquiries and follow-ups with relevant departments.
• Collate and update meal information for kitchen production.
• Generate daily meal summaries and patient meal chits using the electronic meal ordering system.
• Assist kitchen team with meal assembly, plating and tray preparation.
• Manage office supplies, stock issuance and stock-taking; receive, store and distribute goods.
• Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and collate feedback.
• Manage daily staff meal orders, collection coordination and payment processing.
• Support general administrative duties including documentation, filing, posters and signage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Employment Type:September 2026 to December 2026/January 2027/Temporary
Working Hours:5-day work week, rotational shifts

• 5.15am – 2.45pm&
• 7.30am – 5.00pm
• Includes weekends & public holidays
• Working hours may be adjusted based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Manage diet control administration and patient meal-related matters
• Handle phone calls, enquiries and feedback, and coordinate follow-ups with relevant departments
• Collate and update meal information for kitchen production
• Generate daily meal summaries and patient meal chits using the electronic meal ordering system
• Assist the kitchen team with meal assembly, plating and tray preparation
• Manage office supplies, stock issuance and stock-taking
• Receive, store and distribute goods to relevant departments

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition or a related discipline preferred
• Candidates with relevant experience in food services, healthcare, catering or similar operations are welcome
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate is required
• Good communication, interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good spoken and written English
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling, including lifting and carrying heavy items
