Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a hospital Food Service Assistant to support daily Food Services operations in the West region. You will manage patient meal orders, prepare meal summaries, attend calls, assist with meal assembly, monitor stock, and collect feedback.

The role requires a Diploma in Food Science/Nutrition, WSQ Food Safety Level 1, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays. Relevant experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition or related discipline preferred.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process patient meal orders and diet-related admin tasks.
• Generate meal summaries, meal chits and related documentation.
• Attend calls, inquiries and feedback from patients and staff.
• Support meal assembly and plating per dietary requirements.
• Monitor stock, supplies and deliveries.
• Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and gather feedback.
• Manage staff meal orders and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and hospital procedures.
• Perform general admin and operational duties to support daily Food Services.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Location : West
Working Hours: 5-day work week, 42 hours/week
Rotating Shifts: 5:15am-2:45pm / 7:30am-5:00pm
Includes weekends and public holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and process patient meal orders and diet-related administrative tasks.
• Generate meal summaries, meal chits and other relevant documentation.
• Attend to calls, enquiries and feedback from patients and staff.
• Support meal assembly and plating according to patients' dietary requirements.
• Monitor and manage food stocks, supplies and deliveries.
• Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and assist with gathering feedback.
• Manage staff meal orders and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and hospital procedures.
• Perform general administrative and operational duties to support daily Food Services operations.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant working experience will also be considered.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
