Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD invites applications for a maternity cover position in ophthalmic support. Based in Outram Park, the role runs from Sep 2026 to Feb 2027 with a 5.25-day work week and alternating Saturdays, and offers SGD 2,000–2,200 per month.

You will work under ophthalmologists to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions, perform basic eye investigations, and handle administrative tasks. Training is provided; a Diploma or BSc in Biomedical Science or Biotechnology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology)
• No experience required as training provided

Responsibilities

• Work under ophthalmologist directions to assist in diagnosing ocular conditions
• Perform basic ophthalmic eye investigations for subspecialties (e.g. glaucoma screening)
• Perform administrative tasks and update patient database records
• Achieve competency in a fast-paced environment
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities

• work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions
• perform basic ophthalmic eye investigation tests for different subspecialty group e.g. glaucoma screening
• perform administrative functions and update patient's database records.
• able to achieve competency in a fast paced environment
• any other duties as assigned
