Job summary

IDEALS RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Fire Safety Inspector to plan, coordinate and conduct scheduled inspections at assigned premises. You will liaise with tenants, coordinate arrangements, and assess compliance with fire safety regulations, reporting findings to the building manager.

The role requires a Diploma in Building & Facilities Management, 1 year of M&E/Civil Building experience, and a Fire Safety Manager Certificate. Contract is 3 months, located in Central Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Building & Facilities Management required.
• Minimum 1 year of M&E / civil building works experience.
• Fire Safety Manager Certificate is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and conduct scheduled fire safety inspections at premises.
• Liaise with tenants and stakeholders and coordinate inspection arrangements.
• Assess premises for compliance with fire safety regulations and identify non-compliance.
• Prepare and issue inspection reports, breach notices and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Escalate significant fire safety violations to authorities and monitor actions.
• Provide updates and maintain inspection records for building manager.

Job Scope

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct scheduled fire safety compliance inspections at assigned premises on regular basis.


• Liaise with tenants and stakeholders, including issuing engagement letters and coordinating inspection arrangements.


• Assess premises for compliance with fire safety regulations and identify areas of non-compliance.


• Prepare and issue inspection reports, breach notices, and recommendations for corrective actions where required.


• Escalate significant fire safety violations to the relevant authorities (e.g. SCDF) and monitor the progress of regulatory actions.


• Provide regular updates, inspection findings, and compliance status reports to building manager while maintaining accurate inspection records.

Requirement

• Diploma Qualification in Building & Facilities Management


• 1 Years of in M&E / Civil Building works experience


• Possess Fire Safety Manager Certificate is a MUST
