Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on engineer to develop and optimize advanced BCD technology devices through TCAD simulations, bench testing, and performance analysis. This role supports meeting technology requirements and continuous improvement in semiconductor device development.

You will work with cross-functional teams to calibrate models, design test keys, and analyze results to drive device innovations across semiconductor platforms.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics and device performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with TCAD device simulation and calibration.
• Experience with device test-key design, layout, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel semiconductor devices for advanced BCD technology platforms to drive innovation and performance improvements.
• Perform TCAD device simulations by developing, calibrating, and optimizing simulation decks to accurately model device behavior.
• Design, develop, and analyze device test keys and layouts to evaluate device characteristics effectively.
• Conduct hands-on device bench testing including DC, high-voltage and reliability tests to validate device performance.
• Perform electrical characterization and analyze device performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Optimize device parameters and electrical performance to meet specified technology requirements and enhance device reliability.
• Troubleshoot device-related issues by diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective actions to ensure device functionality.
• Manage development activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones and successful completion of reliability qualification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support technology development and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics and device performance analysis to support device development
• In-depth understanding of bipolar and power semiconductor devices for effective device design and evaluation
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
• BCD device development and characterization to advance technology platforms
• TCAD device simulation and calibration to ensure accurate device modeling
• Device test-key design, layout, and analysis for device evaluation
• Power device bench testing including DC, HV, and reliability testing to validate device robustness
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to resolve device issues efficiently
• Ability to manage development activities and deliver results within project timelines to meet business goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Practical experience in BCD technology development and device characterization to enhance device innovation
• Hands-on expertise in TCAD simulation and simulation deck calibration for precise device modeling
• Experience in semiconductor device layout and test-key development to support device evaluation
• Familiarity with power device electrical characterization and reliability qualification to ensure device durability
