Job summary

ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services Pte. Ltd. seeks a dedicated Technician I to join the MRO Services division at our Aero facility in Singapore.

Based at 507 Airport Road, you will support depot transport maintenance and international business operations through hands-on technical tasks and diligent record-keeping. You will engage in inspections, troubleshooting, and documentation while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant technical qualification or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and repair depot transport vehicles.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret circuit diagrams.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks on depot transport vehicles per manufacturer specs and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; document findings and solutions.
• Coordinate with Depot & International Business to manage vehicle availability and readiness for service needs.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and inventory of spare parts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and safety of depot transport services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance tasks.
• Participate in training to stay current with evolving aviation transport maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile
