Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring for a shift-based technician responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will read schematics, follow work instructions, and use test equipment to verify performance. The role requires hands-on work in a PPE environment and offers rotating day/night shifts with allowances.

You should have a min. Nitec or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering and be comfortable in a confined space while ensuring

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.
• Comfortable performing hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a confined spaces, high/low spaces and full PPE environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.

Job description

Work location: Upper Changi
Working Hours: 12 hours rotating shift (4 days' work, 3 days off, 3 days' work, 4 days off).

Morning shift - 7AM to 7PM - Allowance: $20 per shift (around $300–$320/month in allowance)
Night shift - 7PM to 7AM - Allowance: $45 per shift (around $680-$700/month)

Job Responsibilities
