Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking a Technician to support production operations with cleaning, packaging and maintenance of parts in a safe, compliant environment. You will perform polishing, in-process inspections, masking for bead-blasting, and accurate data entry, while adhering to 6S and safety standards.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts and the ability to lift up to 20 kg. We welcome applicants with a high school diploma and ITE, and with chemical handling experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Basic cleaning, packing and maintenance of parts, including wiping with IPA, preparing sample kits, scrubbing and detailing of parts, cleanroom packaging, boxing for shipment, and general area housekeeping with data entry.
• Participation in Quality Assurance and safety programs with ability to identify departures from the quality system.
• Masking parts for bead-blasting activities.
• Safe use and disposal of hazardous chemicals for cleaning.
• Polishing of AL, SST and ceramic parts at a chemical wet bench area.
• In-process inspection for customer parts and ensuring parts are in good condition during cleaning.
• Handle multiple tasks at workstation and assist with ad-hoc requests.
• Maintain good 6S housekeeping and safety practices.
• Work 12-hour rotating or permanent shifts with long hours standing and ability to lift ~20 kg.

The Technician supports production operations through precise cleaning, packaging, and maintenance of parts, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role performs manual polishing, in-process inspections, and specialized tasks such as masking and bead-blasting preparation. It requires safe handling of chemicals, accurate data entry, and adherence to 6S housekeeping practices. The Technician contributes to continuous improvement and operational efficiency while working flexible shifts in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position performs basic cleaning, packing and maintenance activities. This may include initial wiping of parts with various solvents (such as IPA), preparing sample kits, basic scrubbing and detailing of parts with abrasive pads, cleanroom packaging, boxing of parts for shipment, and general area maintenance and housekeeping duties. Updates spreadsheets to capture data.
• Participation in Quality Assurance program, safety program and completion of various trainings. Must be able to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system.
• Specialized duties may include correctly masking parts in preparation for bead-blasting activities.
• Safe use and disposition of hazardous chemicals for cleaning.
• Able work at chemical wet bench area and perform manual polishing AL ,SST and ceramic parts.
• Perform in process inspection for all customer parts and ensure parts is good condition during cleaning process
• Able multiple tasks in workstation and support ad-hoc tasks when request.
• Perform good 6S housekeeping condition in workstation and ensure good safety practices are followed
• Able to work 12hr rotating/permanent shift with long hour standing and can lift around 20kg part.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• High School diploma and Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
