Trans Eurokars Pte Ltd. is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards. You will install OBUs, conduct PDIs, and participate in road tests with customers.
The role requires 2+ years in automotive servicing, knowledge of diagnostic equipment, and a Class 3 licence (preferred). EV experience is advantageous in a fast-paced workshop.
Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
Ensure all repair and service work is completed accurately and to the highest quality standards.
Perform installation of OBU units and related vehicle equipment as required.
Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles when required.
Perform roadside assistance and vehicle recovery support when assigned.
Carry out road tests after repairs and accompany customers on test drives when necessary.
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and recommend appropriate rectification measures.
Achieve monthly productivity and efficiency targets set by the department.
Liaise closely with Team Leads and Customer Service Advisors (CSAs) to ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
Ensure accurate recording of labour hours, repair details, and technical findings for all assigned jobs.
Complete all repair orders and supporting documentation accurately and promptly.
Support CSAs with technical advice, repair recommendations, and quotations for additional work where required.
Maintain proper care, usage, and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
Adhere to all workshop processes, policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
Report any technical issues, safety concerns, or operational problems to the immediate superior.
Participate in all required technical and product training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Support Aftersales, Marketing, and Sales events as required.
Due to operational requirements, employees may be required to work at other company locations as assigned.
Carry out any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
NITEC/Higher NITEC in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive servicing and repairs.
Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Valid Class 3 driving licence preferred.
Experience with EV vehicles is an advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
