Job summary

Aprisium is seeking a motivated Technician – Analyser Assembly to join our Operations and Engineering team in Singapore. You will assemble, test, calibrate, and support production of water quality analyser systems, working from engineering drawings, SOPs, and instructions.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, precision, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for prototype assembly, engineering validation, and occasional field service.

Qualifications

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics; Electrical & Electronic Engineering; Instrumentation; Manufacturing Engineering; Or a related technical discipline.
  • Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.
  • Senior technicians with extensive hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Retired professionals who wish to continue contributing their technical expertise are also welcome to apply.
  • Experience in analytical instruments, water treatment systems, industrial automation, or laboratory equipment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble water quality analyser systems and related sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Install mechanical, electrical, electronic, tubing, pneumatic, and sensor components.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, tubing installation, and panel assembly.
  • Ensure all assemblies meet company quality standards before release.
  • Conduct functional testing and system verification.
  • Perform calibration of sensors and analyser systems following established procedures.
  • Record test results and prepare production documentation.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify assembly or functional issues.
  • Perform quality inspections during assembly and final testing.
  • Report non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation, production records, and inventory usage.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product reliability.
  • Assist engineers with prototype assembly and product development.
  • Support engineering validation tests and design verification activities.
  • Provide feedback on manufacturability and assembly improvements.
  • Occasionally support installation, commissioning, servicing, or maintenance of analyser systems at customer sites.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician – AnalyserAssembly to join our Operations and Engineering team. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, calibrating, andsupporting the production of water quality analyser systems. This role is idealfor candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work and are passionate aboutprecision, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production
  • Assemble water quality analyser systems and related sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Install mechanical, electrical, electronic, tubing, pneumatic, and sensor components.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, tubing installation, and panel assembly.
  • Ensure all assemblies meet company quality standards before release.
Testing & Calibration
  • Conduct functional testing and system verification.
  • Perform calibration of sensors and analyser systems following established procedures.

  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment deployed in the field.
Requirements
Education

NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in:

  • Mechatronics
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Instrumentation
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Or a related technical discipline
Experience

Technical Skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and electronic components.
  • Familiarity with sensors, pumps, valves, tubing, and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of water treatment equipment or analytical instruments is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Personal Attributes

  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience assembling analytical instruments or laboratory equipment.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems or manufacturing documentation.
  • Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or calibration equipment.
  • Experience in water treatment, environmental monitoring, or industrial instrumentation is an added advantage.
