About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our Team at Tuas West Region facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations. As a Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety standards. Your expertise will be integral to maintaining the reliability of our operational systems and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing division.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery and production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective solutions
• Inspect equipment and components for defects, wear, and damage, reporting issues promptly to supervisors
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair work completed
• Support the optimisation of production processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues and maintain operational continuity
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Technician, Machine Operator, or in a similar technical role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance principles, and troubleshooting techniques

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
